Well, today I went to my stables and I had this jumping lesson. One girl, who is a good friend of mine, was also there. I noticed her going over to the fence, and talking very quietly to someone I couldn't quite see. Out of curiosity more than anything, I wandered over on the pretence of warming my horse up, and she didn't notice me behind her. She was talking to someone I can only assume was her mother, she was short and had grey hair. The girl was saying "No, I don't want you watching. Go and sit in the car!!". I thought this was an appalling way to treat someone, but didn't really think about it any more for the duration of the lesson. Then after, I was talking to her after the lesson, and the same woman was sat on the benches outside the stables, and again, the girl said, "Go and sit in the car!!". She leaned behind me to mouth it to the woman, but I still heard it, but I don't think she wanted me to. Later I talked to her in the evening on IM and she said her mum had been shouting at her.

Is this normal??
