Is this normal for my pug's eyes?

My pug is 8 weeks old. It contstantly has "eye boogies" coming out of her eyes. It is clear with no yellow/green color to it. I am curious to know because it's quite a bit coming from her eyes and I am not familiar with pugs. Is this normal for my pug to have that much discharge from it eyes?

Tearing is normal, but i would talk to a vet about clear discharge.

I don't know how much is normal.  If she were mine, I would check with the vet to get a baseline.  I do know that pugs have a lot of problems with their eyes and can become blind due to untreated eye problems.

my Maltese has that to, its a defect from inbreeding, its not hazardous just gross. You can get stuff for it, i forget whats its called.

Yeah, normal.

My Pug gets her eyes cleaned twice a day.(as all pugs should, along with wrinkles)

I would look into getting some eye flush for that twice a day cleaning.

Just make SURE you clean it off/out. With their big buldgy eyes it's common for eye infections.

The fact you say "I am not familiar with Pugs" worries me.

Any Pug owner should do thorough research on the breed as they take alot of time and effort.

>They're very prone to being overweight! Get her on a good, holistic food as soon as possible. I feed mine Wellness, and she's perfectly healthy and a good weight. Stay away from Purina, Pedigree, Eukanuba, ect.. Pretty much ANYTHING you can buy at a grocery store.

I would go to the vet and have them check it out. It is normal for a pug to have discharge from it's eyes, but not too much. Just to be safe, i would get it check out.. Probably nothing, though.
