  1. it is fairly normal after any surgery. You can't eat the day before and you can't eat solids for a while after. As soon as your mouth heals you most likely will gain it back. Everytime i've had teeth yanked i lose weight but i gain it back a few days later. If you had anesthesia that is one of the side effects also.

  2. maybe its cuz your only eating milkshakes yogurt and water.

  3. Losing 10 pounds in a day is excessive.

  4. My older sister is currently recovering from a surgery which is really hard to spell but is pronounced like this: os-tee-otto-me, which is where they cut the bottom of your jaw and pull it forward. It's been about 4 weeks and she has lost about 14 pounds. Make sure that the liquids you drink are high in proteins and vitamins. My sister's doctor recommended something call muscle milk which is a protein drink. You can also add things like carnation instant breakfast powders and other protein powders to your milkshakes and yogurt to increase your supplement intake. If you want to eat more normally, you can purée your food. For instance we puréed some macaroni and cheese for my sister (still tasted yummy). Hope you get better soon!
