Is this normal in the 2nd trimester?

I am currently almost 22 weeks pregnant and I woke up in the middle of the night with SEVERE nipple pain. It felt like they were being burned or something! I have had breast tenderness in early pregnancy, but nothing like this. It actually kept me awake and still kind of hurts now. I don't remember anything like this from my last pregnancy until after my son was born and my milk came in and was drying up. Is this normal for only being 22 weeks?

My guess is that your b*****s are filling up. I experienced a similar sensation at 16 weeks when my colostrom came in. In your first you probly didn't have colostrom until later in the pregnancy but since your body knows what to do now it is preparing earlier. I wouldn't be suprised if you see a little leakage during or after s*x or stimulation in the next few days. Hope that helps! Congrats and Best Wishes...you're half way done!
