Is this normal or am I over reacting?

I went to the doctor yesterday and found out I had a kidney infection. I have been on the meds a day and a half and went to the bathroom a little bit ago and my pee was pinkish colored! Is that normal?!

Pee is usualy dull brown or smokey when problem is from the kidney,and brighter if it comes from the bladder or urethra.There are SO MANY variables though like, autosomal recessive for instance although that's not so likely. It can only be properly diagnosed by a urine screening test.So it's back to the doctor with you if it persists.

Yes, that is normal. If it becomes darker colored, see your doctor right away.

Try looking up the side effects of your medication on line or call your pharmacist. Some pills for kidney ailments can turn urine different colors.

Your body just isnt quite used to it, im sure...but just calm down and eat healthy and everything will b fine.

pink urine is a symptom of a kidney infection, most probably the meds didnt have the time to cure the infection yet.

i dont think theres a need to panic, its best you consult your doctor  tho

if the medicine is red/pink/orange then yes

one time i took a red pill for urinary pain relief then

my pee was so pink, i was sooo scared.

then like a couple more times that i peed it went away

when i took the pill again it changed color again.
