  1. it's normal for the pad to feel uncomfortable at first... but however, you could try using other brands if you want...

you wouldn't actually want to swim when you're menstruating because it's really unhygienic....

you could try buying the tampons yourself?

  2. You probably need to change your pad. It should be changed every few hours or so. Some don't get cramps at first but they will start. You will need tampons to go into the water because the pad will get all soggy. Maybe you could buy them yourself and not tell your mum or avoid the pool while during your period.

  3. yes until you get used to it pads are incredibly uncomfortable. most girls actually prefer tampons over pads. but until you are comfortable with them it may sound gross.

when it comes to swimming its pretty much just common sense. NO PADS cause they will just NOT work and you will probably be embarrased :( and not wearing anything doesnt work either cause that could be real messy and also embarrasing. so really... tampons are the only way to go :\

  4. congrats on finally starting your period. and yes it is normal for the pad to feel uncomfortable at first but you get use to it. wait for a few more months to try tampons. you want to get used to pads first. if your going swimming in your pool, you can wear a pad. hope  this helped.
