Question:

Is this normal? please help.?

to begin with, i only eat a fruit for breakfast and another one for lunch, and then i have whatever my mom makes for dinner. i'm usually busy so i don't have time to eat. also, i love fruit and i could go all day without eating anything but fruit. so my stomach is used to this. i never get hungry after eating only a fruit, in fact i never really crave anything. i drink a lot of water and that's pretty much it. now, my question is, is it normal to lose like, 3-5lbs a week because of the way i eat? i've noticed that my weight drops each time. if that's the case i need to try to have a bit more of time to eat actual meals because i don't need to lose that much weight. only 3lbs lol. so what do you recommend that i do? and is dropping that much weight normal or not?

  1. ur like me! =) yeah i only eat fruit in the morning & at lunch then food & in the night another fruit but i do it to keep a good health..i think its normal but i always weight the same & i'm in good shape

  3. im not sure if its normal or not but try having your fruits as an addition to meals instead of just as a meal for example eat them with yogurt or peanut butter or with a sandwhich

  4. its normal because your eatin super healthy and not takin in alot of sugar and fat. but you do need to start eating more of the food groups i love fruit too bu olny eating fruit isnt healthy. so try eating more protiens, dairy, veggies and grain, breads, and cerals.  

  5. if you're trying to loose weight, than you should only loose 1 or 2 pounds a week, but if you're loosing 3 than that's fine. but if you're not exercising and loosing this much weight, than it's probably not healthy. you should drink more than just water, try milk, or vegtable juice, because eventually you won't have much body fat, and then you'll become weak and won't be able to keep up with your busy schedule!

  6. Well the average amount of weight you are suppose to loose in a week is 2.5-3 pounds. That is the healthy way. So you aren't that far off. However you should probably through in some more food so that you don't get sick or anything. Fruit is healthy but you have to remember all of the acid and what not in fruits. Through in more of a variety of foods. A fruit is good to include but for breakfast have a bowl of cereal or some toast. For lunch have a sandwich and some fruit. A little more to eat isn't going to hurt anything but you need more then just you recommended amount of fruit in you diet.
