i've got 2 month old twin girls. i changed their formula yesterday from regular enfamil to enfamil gentlease because of fussiness and gas. they are doing better on this formula so far, but today i changed the first poo diapers since they started the different formula and it was green. not the usual yellow. it was the same consistency, just a different color. is this normal?

  1. Yeah, that's completely normal. I switched from Enfamil (regular) to the Gentlease as well and my daughter did the same thing.

  2. poo turns green when you change their diet

  3. Yes you will get the whole rainbow sooner or later. Your in good shape as long as they are not constipated.

  4. Changes in formula can absolutly cause changes in stool color. Sometimes changes in stool color just occur without any reason too. You don't need to be concerned unless you see a change in consistency (diarhea) or if you see a non-normal p**p color (such as red).
