I am too attached to people, if someone is nice to me or gives me attention they become an obsessive thought I dont want to have like that, I just worry and get anxious and get obsessive....my obsessions drive my compulsions.....I become a perfectionist for people without noticing, I just obsess and worry too much. I do things that I dont want to do and I think of things in people in super obsessive ways I dont like feeling.

  1. TOTALLY NOT OCD. I'm not a doctor or anything but that's my opinion. It sounds to me like you just feel the need to impress everyone and for whatever reason you feel like everyone else is better than you so you HAVE to impress them... it just sounds like you have some serios self-esteem issues. sorry kid. But knowing people these days, you'll go to the doctor, they'll say it's some kind of disease like OCD or ADHD or something crazy and put you on a whole bunch of medication so you never have to deal with it...

  2. It sounds more like anxiety than OCD.  Everyone has the potential to have obsessive thoughts, but there is a way to slow them down and eventually stop them.  Try some cognitive-behavioral therapy.  Every time you think of something you don't want to think of, have another thought or better yet a song, to think of instead.  I have found that this gradually reduced my tendancy to think obsessively and I hardly ever have those kinds of thoughts anymore.  I didn't obsess over people, it was mostly stupid stuff that used to freak me out.  Good luck.
