Is this ok, or do guys get annoyed?

Question

If you've gone on 2 dates with a girl and she texts you more than she calls, would u be annoyed at that?

This guy and I are both somewhat shy and in our late 20's. I always worry about bothering him or being too clingy. Sometimes I will text instead of call. He's on his first day of vacation right now and I just sent a text message telling him I was thinking about him and hope he's ok after the crazy shift he worked the other day.

Do guys get annoyed at text messages like that?

there are guys who do and there are some that dont u should ask him but call him and ask him dont text he'll see you as being straight forward but not too much

Too much of anything can be annoying, especially in the beginning. Chill out some, allow him time to breathe. If he is on vacation, leave him alone. If he wants to chat with you, he will call or text. I once emailed 3 nice ecards after a date. I thought they said what I wanted to say. The next day nothing, two days go by and I am left wondering. Finally, we chat and it is already over and I did not even know it. Seems too much too fast and she bolted. I was upset and did not even have a clue. It could have been an excuse, but bottom line....don't overdo it. Hope this helps.

i don't get annoyed, texting relieves those long uncomfortable pauses when talking...i like hearing shes thinking of me....be yourself...don't play games...you'll do just fine

I personally hate text messages with a passion.

But, they work for some people. If he's shy, he'd love to get a text message saying that you are thinking about him and its sure to cheer him up. Phone conversations can get awkward and are much longer so text messages can be a short and sweet alternatives.

Some guys like it some don't, which one is your man? and don't be excessive but you probably aren't being excessive. If he's doing it a lot then he might like it. What kind of phone does he have? Is it specially made for texting? If so, then he may like it. My brother loves texting, but then again he's a techy of sorts.
