Two of my daughters (12 and 14) were physically fighting and i yelled at them and said if you two don't stop your going to get a spanking. After excessive warnings i made them both go up to their rooms. About 5 minutes later I went to my 14 year old's room first. I pulled her over my knee pulled her jeans down and spanked her with my bare hand. Then, I did the same to my 12 year old daughter she started crying but my 14 year old didn't. i have spanked my kids before but now my 14 year old daughter is throwing stuff around and saying i can't wait until I'm 18 because I am moving out and never coming back. I don't know what to do. I don't want her to feel this way. I went up there and told her I loved her and she said no you don't, and then yelled get out. What do I do?

Yes, she is mad, hurt and I don't blame her.  She'll ease up, but please in the future find another means of discipline before you end up in court as a child molester!!!!!!

Teenagers can be frustrating...however, if you're punishing physical violence WITH physical violence, don't you think that might be sending the wrong message?  

Be ready for more of the same types of situations in the future...such is life with teens!  Give them time to cool down and be sure to spend quality time with your teenagers...just because they're teenagers, doesn't mean they don't want or need their moms and dads.  :)

Well I think that they're both in need of discipline, and you recognized it, but spanking is not as fitting punishment for 14 and 12 year old's. It doesn't send across a message of "you did something wrong", its "you hurt each other so I'm going to in turn, hurt you." I'd try grounding, taking away things that she uses recreationally. And don't worry, its normal for her to say that, I said it all the time growing up. And everything works out fine. Its just being a teenage girl, she knows what hurts when she says things.

honestly, i know its your choice and stuff cause ur the parent, but i think they are both too old to get hit. especially the 14 yr old. they are at that age where grounding helps more. u should try taking away thier stuff instead. for example take away the tv for a day or the phone or whatever else they like. or send them to bed early. but i dont think u should hit them anymore at their age. but idk its up to u just give it a try.

I think that they are to old to have their pants pulled down . But now that you've punished them try not to feel to guilty to where it shows...kids are smart, they'll use it to their advantage.

Ya you shold tell my parents that i feel like saying that to them, but i streal love them, it might be that she has a streed life just like me and soesnt have anybody to talk to even there mom. maybe she steal thinks that you treat her like a little kid just let her be her own. that how I feel you shlod give her some space.
