  1. "Loose" is the wrong word to use.  "Lose" is correct.

    "Families" is the plural of family.  No apostrophe needed.

    You've also got mixed tenses in this sentence: "The explosion was caused by gas and is blamed on the company manager because he was warned by Tomlinson but the manager didn't want to loose money for his company so he ignored him."

    If you are writing in the past tense, use "was."  If you are writing in the present tense, use "is.".  Be consistent with whichever one you use.  That is also a run-on sentence.  You also fail to identify Tomlinson.  Who was he?

    "The explosion was caused by gas and was blamed on the company manager.  The manager had previously been warned by Tomlinson but ignored the warning due to fears the company would lose money."
