I'm 14 years old and my boyfriend is also 14, but he's in 7th grade and i'm in 9th..

Is that a little weird?

I think he failed or something like twice...

You may want to think twice about dating someone that doesn't apply himself in school, that doesn't mean he is a bad person, it just means he is not acting responsibly and may end up being an under achiever.

No sweetie, that's not weird. Don't go by grades, go by age. My boy friend is 14 and going into 9th and I'm going into 8th, but I was held back. Age doesn't really matter as long as you're between an extent, and grades really dom not matter because the grade someone is in depends on their situation, not by their maturity and age.

nothing wrong with that, unless it really bothers you. In that case, be single. You are young. You don't need to commit yourself to anything but finding happiness at your age. If he isn't making you happy, then find something else, or find happiness in being single.
