  1. The population will come form the stocking density rather than the different types of fish in your pond.  Safely you can stock 1500 LBS per fish per acre without aeration. Heavier than that, you'll want to get an aerator to introduce oxygen into the water. In a perfect world , you'll even aerate the pond if it isn't stocked heavily, as a higher O2 concentration makes the fish grow better.

The sunfish will be an excellent source of food for the cats and bass.  Those little buggers can get out of control, so if you get only small bream/sunfish out of the pons after 6 months, you'll want to introduce more predatory fish to control the population.

  2. first off I am jealous second how do I get an invite? twelve feet width isn't much it more sounds like a channel than a pond but! bfore you put more into it add structure in it. like old stoves with the doors all pulled off and give the fish a strong habitat to take over as their home and hide out the bass will need ambush points to attack from behind also. eventually they will all become canibalistic in such a small and closed environment but with three or four stoves and five old junk pick up trucks with no windows, hood and doors you might have something there. you will need a good aerator to create enough oxygen for them at least a giant water fountain might work. but stock if you can spotted bass not black bass

  3. You may want to check with a wildlife or marine biologist but the introduction of bass will help to keep the sunfish population in check. 65 feet by 12 feet deep... sweet!

  4. Be sure to feed them!

If not there will be predation and trouble.  Takes effort to maintain that big of a population in a closed ecosystem.
