I have a 30 gallon tank with the following fish:

2 Mini Angels( they are 2.5 inches and wont get any bigger)

2 clown loaches

2 dwarf frogs

2 dwarf red sunset gouramis

2 guppies

1 dwarf pleco

5 black phantom tetras

  1. Do you have a scientific name for the "Mini Angels"? If not, then they probably aren't "Mini Angels" and are regular angels with a slightly smaller size.

But even without the Angels, you're overstocked with the Clown Loaches. They grow up to a foot long and 2 would require a 100+ gallon tank. Check out these pics: http://www.loaches.com/species-index/pho...

And if you have regular angels, then you're still overstocked by a couple of fish.

    E-mail me for any questions!

EDIT: When the Clowns are about 6-7", you'll have to either give them away or upgrade to a bigger tank.

Also, get rid of the frogs because they'll either be starved because the other fish will compete for food, or they'll be attacked by the Pleco.

  2. No, it is fine. My loaches stayed small and I had a smaller tank than you.

  3. Yes,

You have to do the one inch of fish for one gallon of water!

    Its is true!

So go ahead and do that instead!

Remember people get this confused and think it means for every ten gallons of water!

It is actually every one gallon!

So if i had a two inch loach I would have to keep it in a 2 gallon or more tank!

    See what I mean?

    :)
