  1. STOP!

Go no further, Do not buy Sony.  By all means if your getting something from Circuit City go for the CVRs from Kicker.  There not to expensive and the stores just started carrying them not to long so you might find some deals.  They sell the Kicker ZX750 go for that.  Because you get what you pay for and sony is cheap.

  2. well you are getting 2 12" subs, it should be ok.  What you lack in overall power (you will have a total of 250 watts RMS), is made up in 2x 12" sub moving a lot of air.  You should feel the bass and if this is your first sound system, it will work out just fine.

you are going to be a little short on power but for the price, its a great deal.

If your expecting a real strong bass and the feeling of lots of power, this aint it.  (you should have 500 watts RMS, with 2x 12" to have at least the illusion of lots of power).

in any case, I see nothing wrong with the seet up and price, good luck and have a lot of fun subn'

ps, All brand names work the same, they have a company and brand name to protect.  If you pay 50.00 for a sub, kicker, fosgate, pioneer, kenwood, sony, JVC, etc.  Do you really think that 1 brand is that much better than another?  And the link looks like it comes in pre loaded box.  That's good, it means that they probably tested out 50-100 different box styles and came up with the best box possible with that speaker/amp setup and that price in mind.  You will be just fine.

  3. no way, sony sucks in car audio, want something better, look at best buy, they have the fosgate package, I own fosgate stage 2 subs, and they are wayyyyyyyyyy better than kickers or that c**p sony, my email is pioneer6900@ yahoo.com, Ill answer any of your questions dude, I have a sound system worth over $2800, I ahve custom everything, and am always willing to talk car audio. DO NOT BUY THE SONYS!!!!

  4. don't buy the sony's coming from a guy who's bosting fosgate...lol!

really though, don't get them. if you have heard friend's cars and want something comparable...or a lot better, stay away from main stream....sony, fosgate, alpine (except head untis), even kicker is starting to go down hill.

check out products by memphsis, DD, cadence, RE, usamps, mmats, xtant....granted, they will cost more then the 250 for that, but you get what you pay for and if you were to upgrade your system next year, the equipment you have now would have no resale value so you'd be out the $$. spend the $$ up front and do it right so you don't have a history of a buch of 1/2 a$$ instals that ended up costing you more in the long run.....trust me, been ther, done that.
