Is this part of the motorcycle fixable? (pic)?

so I've layed my bike 1day before I install my frame sliders :(

and it got beat up at this part of the motorcycle (see pic)

so is it fixable? it seems like its just a lid for something once the fairing is taken off?

what is it called and how do I fix? thanks

  1. It could be repaired but for the price just replace it ,its just a cover-Have a close look when you get it off


  2. either your stator or your clutch cover, replace it

  4. It looks like a stator cover. It doesn't rteally matter what it is called, it is easy to replace it with a new cover.

  5. stator cover/clutch cover depending on the bike...

    easily replaced, just a handfull of bolts

  6. Totally fixable.  My friend got one on ebay for 15 bucks after he took a spill.

  7. Yup, the other responders are correct.

    In addition to frame sliders, you should consider getting swingarm sliders and "bar end" sliders as well.
