Is this pc fast enough to run oblivion on the highest settings?

most important is amount of ram (upto 4 gigs) and the video card.

plenty of ram but a cheap video card.

get a nvidia 280.

I think it should be.. your problem would be RAM especially on a Vista machine, but as you have 6 gigs there, aI think you should be ok.. and I am not sure on the video card.. you might want to check into that.. OHHHH and make sure you have a VERY VERY good cooling system.. that game runs very hot

go on canyourunit.com and pick your game install the completely safe program and it will tell you if you can run the minimum, reccemended, or optimal " optimal is only for some games".
