The 2007 winner of the Texas A&M University competition to define political correctness said it is "a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t**d by the clean end."

  1. I only wish it was a minority, but most people have no choice but to be PC.  The lunatics have been running the asylum for far too long...but I don't think anything's going to change any time soon.

  2. PC is a form of politness, in some areas it goes to far, but its mainly just a mild annoyance, unlike what the people who benefit from pc had to put up with before its creation, when racially abusive langauge was accecpted like other forms of discrimination, i think alot of people get confused by pc actually is, i know alot of people praise certain comedians because they think, sticking it to pc, but they not

that kramer guy had ago a pc shouted ****** ******, i hang you from a tree,  thats sticking it to PC,

  3. I would agree with that definition. Political correctness does not foster freedom in any form. It inhibits open communication most of all. Those who control speech can also control thought.

  4. I go to Texas A&M...Gig 'em!!

Anyway, yes..I have to agree. Political correctness has become some kind of obligatory sensorship.

i.e. Texas is now a shithole because of illegal immigration. And to want anything but amnesty and open borders is considered racist by sheep PC zealots.

  5. I think it is ridiculous.

  6. I think it is quite true,

PC is tyranny with a smile.  It is self-righteous, pompous, inconsistent and biased.  It is exclusionary, ridiculous, misandrist and hypocritical.

It seeks to create social ills and demons, and appoint itself with the right to judge others yet holds itself beyond any reproach.

I could say more, but hey, 'nuff said for today.
