My brother in law told me about this, but he has never used it. Sounds great but I feel that there is a catch to it.

1)Has anyone ever used this service and what do/did you think about it.

2) How much did you really paid for it

  2. yes..I have used this service and it works like home phone.  You need to have decent internet speed.  If you have broadband, then it works great.  I have also used this magicjack in other country and it works great.  exactly I don't remember how much I paid, but I guess I paid around 50 bucks.  Also you have to pay for this service every year.

  3. My boyfriend just purchased it and it works great.  He hasn't received his first bill yet but I let you know when he does!!  I think it is to good to be true also.

  4. They are not scam. They are legit US company and FCC have approved them. The service is good and it works fine for one of my friend. They have been using it for a while. Some of them have also complained about getting charged for trial and some have also said that it doesn't work on their computer. But I'd say if you have a new computer like even 4-5 years old computer, it'll work. You just have to install it right and try different USB ports if it doesn't work at first time. Might be difficult to install at first if you aren't a techy person, but once you get it working, it works great and the sound quality is great too. Hope that helps.
