Is this pic good enough?

I took this pic Saturday of my puppy at the creek.I think its really nice.My mom said I should send it in to a calender company..but I have a few questions:

Do you think its even good enough?

Who do I contact?

Do they pay you?

Good composition, but it's completely blurred and grainy. Not marketable, whatsoever.

you should probably clean it up a little in photoshop first... you will have to research where calendars buy their pictures from

It would of been if you got on your dogs eye level and had him look at you because that would of made this image more interesting . You should try again he's very cute . Maybe try something like this ?

I don't think it is good enough because his face is hidden behind some greenery....it just makes the picture odd. Just because it was taken with a high quality resolution camera, doesn't mean the photo is great as well.
