When you hit the ball and the cue ball hits the 9-ball in the pocket.

Like you are hitting the 3-ball, 3-ball doesn't go in a pocket, but the cue ball bounce off the rail and hit the 9-ball in the pocket. Is this a legal play?

  1. yes and you win.

  2. Absolutely it is legal play.  As long as you hit the lowest ball on the table first whatever other ball gets pocketed counts.  If you are playing in the APA/CPA league the remaining balls would be counted as "dead" balls then you would rerack and break and continue play until whoever gets to the number of points they need.

  3. congrats you won dear.have a good game.

  4. Yes it is legal play and infact you will win the game if you had done that move.

  5. yes

  6. Congrats you just won

The only thing is to make a good hit on the 3 ball any balls pocketed are legal the 9 its-self is a win

I very rarely clean off the table in 9ball ,with about 40 % going on the break Combos & Kiss shots are most of my 9ball game

  7. Yes! It most certainly IS a legal play .......

IF the 3 ball is the lowest numbered ball on the table.

.....cue ball off the 3.... into the 9 .....9 ball drops in (and you don't scratch) .....you win.
