Is this possible? (Inflation question, kinda)?

Is it possible that, due to inflation, the show will have to be called "Who Wants to be a Billionaire"?

And is it possible that Jeopardy will have to do away with Single Jeopardy, and instead just have Double Jeopardy and maybe Triple Jeopardy?!?

  1. well the value of the dollar has hit some low numbers compared to world currencies - the economic slow down - due to real estate market is problematic for inflation - worse though is the current debt ratio of S&P 500 companies - debt seems to be the standard - - - of course maybe they're just taking after Uncle Sam - a few years ago we were at record levels - 6 trillion in debt - now up in the 9.5 trillion in debt.

I played with some numbers back in the 90's and showed that a ratio of debt to income for uncle sam of 4:1 would be unsustainable for more than a single exutive term - we are nearing that ratio - I believe we are at 9.5 to 3 - getting close

when the interest on the debt is simply added to the debt itself then we have also hit another barrier

    The signs are getting dire

Many think that the Fall of the "New" Roman Empire is nearing - my advice - property and investing overseas.

of course investing overseas won't help all that much - the U.S. dollar is the Global currency - not like it used to be, but it's going to take the entire global economy down - better start holding your breath

Jeapardy - not triple - - - start adding zeros - bunches of them

hyperinflation happens to countries every now and then - the downfall of superpowers is usually evident first in the devaluation of it's currency

the fix - not enough people in the right places get it - unfortunately it would include tying the dollar to fixed international value - probably gold /silver -   Nobody seems to worry now - but that's how the government officials will act when they have short terms and short sight!
