  1. You definitely need to get to the Doctors office.  This doesn't sound good.  Had a Dr ever confirmed the pregnancy? It sounds like not.  If you had a sonogram and there was no baby detected, it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant.

  2. If you had a positive home test then you were pregnant but if an 8 week blood test AND ultrasound show now signs of a baby you probably miscarried.  The baby could have died a couple weeks ago and your body just hasn't flushed it out yet (sorry that sounds so harsh)   :(

  3. There is n speculation about being pregnant: A negative blood pregnancy test means that you are not pregnant.  Your previous urine pregnancy test may have been a mistake, or you had a miscarriage.

  4. Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate; you can have false positives as well as false negatives; for any number of reasons.  It's always a good idea to back up what the HPTs say by seeing a doctor.  If the home tests came out positive, it's a good idea to get it varified by a doctor.

Just the same, if the home test comes out negative, but you're more than two weeks late, best to see a doctor and find out what's going on.

  5. I'm not thinking so. At 8 weeks you'd have to do a vaginal u/s most likely and a blood test picks up more hcg than a HPT. You probably should talk to the doctor about irregular periods and such.
