I started my period Aug 15th and the last few days i've had some cramping and what felt like pressure. I had a back ache yesterday and last 2 days i slept just about all day. well today i had a brown color blood just only when i went to the bathroom and then i just had some pink/red but only again when i go to the bathroom. Could it be implantation bleeding? I know its too early for my period again because its only been like 17 days. I'm going to get a test tomorrow but It may still be way too early. but I'm just curious on what everyone thinks.

  1. You didn't give any details about ovulation or cycle length but if its been over 5 days since you ovulated then it's most likely implantation bleeding.

  2. It could be, the timing seems right. Implantation normally occurs anywhere from 5-12 days after ovulation. It can happen sooner, and it can happen later than that if it takes the fertilized egg longer to implant. Implantation bleeding is said to be somewhat rare, but I sure  hear many stories about it happening. I personally believe the experience is unique to everyone, and it doesn't always happen the way the definition describes it to be. It is said that it is normally pink or brown in color, and resembles a bloody discharge. It is also described to be very short lived. I've heard of women experiencing a single drop of blood, while other actually had mistaken their implantation bleeding for an early, very short, and very light period. I think it's unique for everyone. I hope this is your lucky month!! Good luck to you, and lots of baby dust!!

  3. it could be implantation bleeding, even though that doesn't happen all the time, but it could also be just regular mid-cycle spotting, you can take an hpt 12 days after you ovulated for an accurate result, good luck!!! you can also ask doctors online for free and find others going through similar situations, try fertilityties.com

    good luck!!
