Is this practical?

I'm thinking about purchasing a bunk-bed, and sharing it with my dog. I would take the top bunk, and he can have the bottom. I'm 130 lbs. Can this work, assuming the beds are of the highest quality?

    WHY WOULD THE BEDS HAVE TO BE OF HIGHER QUALITY? I DON'T THINK, THE FACT THAT YOU WEIGH 130, WILL BE A  DANGER TO YOU, (OR TO YOUR DOG FOR THAT MATTER. LOL).
