Is this prescription too low to use?

Question

I wear glasses for reading which help my headaches but my distance presciption is

+0.25

+0.75 -75 -150

Would this make a difference if I got it made up? I didn't realise what a that I had a problem with reading until I used glasses and everything was crystal clear.

I have been told its up to me if I feel the need for the distance prescription.

Honestly I'm not 100% sure that I understand what you're asking either, I have no clue what those middle numbers are in relation to. But from what I understand.. I wouldn't worry about it. You said wearing glasses to read help your vision and headaches so obviously keep that. But if you're not having a problem like headaches all the time I wouldn't worry about getting them for distance. +0.25 is a very low prescription. My eyes are slightly different in prescription, yet I wear the same strength of contacts/glasses for both and the doctor said as long as it doesn't bother me then it's fine. You said your doctor said it was up to you so I'd just listen to them. If it was necessary they would've told you. But definitely if you start to experience any sort of problems or discomfort you should get it. Good luck :)
