Might be or just you're Anti virus detects it as so because it writes to basic files. err on the side of caution and stay clear

As a few others have said, anything from download.com is safe.

However, I would not advise posting a link to the program like you did. It's a little scary, and most people won't click it. Instead, just name the program, and people can Google it.

and as u saw the comments on the site antiviruses pick it up as false positive

The publishers description of the download makes me think this is a program for advanced users.  The fact that you cant tell whether this is a safe DOWNLOAD or PROGRAM, begs the question; Is this program safe for ME to use; the answer being no!
