Is this program safe to download?

I came across a program that is supposed to clean up any damage in my computer like error messages and the computer freezing up or running slow etc. It is called RegCure. Is it safe or will I end up with more serious problems? The address is www.Regcure.com.

is a pay program i had for a year was ok ... i did not renew as i find free programs just as good ... to the noobs there is no spyware/virus to this program ..im sick of avg loving noobs ... who know absolutely nothing and give their useless advise ....................

I only use downloads from sites that are checked for viruses before they are published on the website such as download.com(cnet) or filehippo

It's safe.  It's a registry cleaner.  It fixes problems in your registry.  It won't do anything for a virus or spyware infection.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

RegCure is a legitimate registry cleaner but you have to have a good understanding of the computer registry to understand how to use it properly, usually there is no need to mess with the registry, even expert users can s***w up sometimes, if you are having trouble with your computer it may not be registry problems it may just be an overload of adware and cookies. try a few of these programs first before you mess with your registry

atf will delete all the internet history/temp files and cookies (choose the option of 'select all')

you should also consider using mozilla firefox as a browser as it is much more secure than IE

then you should get a good antivirus if you dont already have one

avira antivir is the best free one on the market ...

if you already have an antivirus and your happy with it - keep it - don't use more than one antivirus

also if you want to do an online scan before you try any of my suggestions Kaspersky is the best one...just be patient - it takes a long time to download the virus definitions and do the scan...
