Is this proof positive of a recession?

While they paint the white lines for the customer taxis area on the tarmac of the old school playing fields, as Senior Traffic Arrangement Officer for my supermarket I am seconded to the 'Patrons Help Desk' and have noted with interest how so many of the middle class wish to be directed to the baked bean aisle.

If my own life has anything to do with the bean trend, I can say if not a recession it certainly indicates the high prices of everything. If a recession is not upon us, it is far too close for comfort.

Between costs of living in general and that associated with uni attendance, I am always feeling the pinch it seems.

I have always liked beans but an eating far more, along with other foods at knock off prices than ever before.
