Is this "OK" for a 1st date???

Im a Red Sox fan and I live by Kansas City. Every year for the last 10 years when the Red Sox come to KC I get tickets for the whole series. Is it an OK 1st date if I take my girl to the game??? She told me that she has NEVER watched a game before and knows only one thing about the Game of baseball...the KC Royals suck. I need help.

Take her to the game.  Maybe watching the game with someone who can explain all the minutiae will make it enjoyable for her.  Maybe she'll even become a Red Sox fan.  If so, marry her.

Yea, i think it'll be fun.  You guys can be together for 2 hours and who knows she mite end up really liking the sport.  HEy, the girl already knows her stuff ;P

If she can't be taught to like the Red Sox, it is important to know early in a relationship.  I found a girl who likes the Red Sox and beer and we have been together for years.  She would leave me for Mike Lowell in a heartbeat and somehow that makes her sexier.

I would go, but then again I love baseball and hate the Redsox!  But just make sure you are not more into the game if she's not.  And she might spoil your good time if she really gets bored.  Some (and I'll say it.. some woman) really don't get into baseball (some guys too) they see it as 3 long hours.  Where are your seats?  That makes a big difference also, if you are close to the game where the fans are totally into it, it will be more fun, but if you are sky high in nosebleed barely seeing the players, leave her at home, and hook up later.

I'm in Kansas City also - Royals fan, though.  Even though the Royals suck, I've taken a few ladies (2 that didn't know a homerun from a touchown) to the K for a first date and they've all been good-great dates.  It's a easy, laid back atmosphere with a lot of people around and it seems to help everybody just relax and be themselves.  I say go for it and GO ROYALS!!!!!

Im sure that would be a good first date. Too get to know each other better. Have fun and watch baseball. You could teach her stuff and she will probably enjoy it.

No do not ever take a girl there on a first date.  SInce she has never watched it before, she might get bored, and want to leave but cant bec she might offend you.  If she has watched it before and is into that stuff then yes.
