  1. Not the Obama thing. But yes about the McCain thing.

  2. yes and yes. there should be another reason why not just the colour

  3. Yes to both. If anybody does this, they don't deserve the right to vote.

  4. I would have said no but the more I think of it YES.If your only reason is race then you are a racist,if your only reason is race!

  5. Yes. You are a racist if you judge (vote for, etc) another by the color of their skin and not by who they are as a person. Whether it's anti or pro, it's *still* wrong.

Why in the world do people spell 'color" with a 'u' in it? Weird...

I don't vote for Obama because I don't think he's qualified. He doesn't have enough experience. I could care less if he was the one-eyed-one-horned-flying-purple-people... I am Republican, but I'm not to thrilled about McCain because I don't think he's got what it takes, either. I don't trust him. But yet because I'm white, I *have* been called racist for not supporting Obama. I hate this particular presidentail race...I honestly never thought that, if a black man were to run for this office, that we would have to deal with this kind of issue.

    Geez, how stupid am I?

  6. Interesting question! Only since the emergence of Obama has the issue of voting along racial lines become a topic of interest for the nation. If the answer to these questions is yes, then we must assume that people vote along racial lines and are racist for doing so. Therefore, since all presidential candidates before Obama have been white males, we must further assume that people voted for them because they were white, and so the vast majority of voters throughout history had to have been racists. Of course this is an obnoxious reply to the question, but my point is that this has never been an issue before in the entire history of the election. Now that a black man has become a presidential candidate for the first time in history, the issue of voting along racial lines has come to the forefront of election politics.

  7. Kind of, your vote shouldn't depend on the candidates race, it should depend on their political views, what they plan on doing for our country, ect!

  8. yer as you should vote for whoever you thinks fit for the job colour shouldnt come into it but it normaly does with both sides

  9. Martin Luther King dreamed of a day in which people were judged not based on the color of their skin but on the content of their character.

To choose or reject a candidate on skin color alone is the very definition of racist.  Decide what issues matter to you.  Discover which candidate best supports your issues.  Vote your conscience, not your prejudice.

  10. Well, there will always be some people that consider it racist to vote for either candidate because it just so happens that one is black while the other is white. in my opinion the color of their skin does not  matter. What is important in choosing who gets your vote is their ideals and what they stand for.

  11. I think so but just my opinion

  12. If the only reason you vote for someone is their skin colour, then I might not call you a racist, but I would say it was a racially motivated vote.

Can McCain win without any black votes? Coz Obama sure as heck can't win without any white votes...

  13. There Has To be Other Reason Than Just Because Of There Colour. That Question Is Not Fully Answerable.

  14. yes if u believe that the candidate is BETTER for being their colour

  15. When someone judges someone based only upon their color, that is considered racist.  Color means nothing when voting on someone who is going to represent and run our country. So to answer your question YES absolutly

  16. Of course it is. You're using race as a reason to vote for a specific candidate rather than focusing on the issues and the individual.

  17. No, it's considered stupidity.
