Question:

Is this racquet right for me?

I am a baseliner who hits heavy shots. (2 handed backhand) I usually hit relatively flat but can also hit with a lot of topspin. I currently use the Prince Ozone Seven and feel that it has too much power. I wanna buy the K factor K tour

Because I want more control.

Do you think that racquet suits my game?

  1. u have to try it out

  2. If you are capable of generating all your own power and need more control this wouldn't be a bad choice (assuming you are at least a NTRP 4.0+).

The only problem I would have personally with this racquet is the weighting. 10.6oz (strung weight) will be great for controlling your ground strokes but you'll lose quite a bit of pace on your serves and especially flat shots. They tried to accomodate this with a 16x20 string pattern but you'll just have to demo it to see how it does.

You might even want to compare it to a K Factor Blade. Either way demo them before you buy.

  3. sure, but it still has some power.

  4. I would go for one of the Head MicroGel Radical Tennis racquets if you are looking for control

ou can go to this website and see the reviews for the racquet you want and the Head MicroGel Radical Racquets. Also there are plenty of others reviewed that you might like how they are too. The reviews have many different statistics that are based on what other tennis players think about them.
