  1. Seriously, I could have lived the rest of my life not ever having to see that.  Actually...why would ANYONE put that on the internet? My cousin delivered a baby and it was still born...so she plastered her myspace page with her deceased baby's pictures (I mean like alot of pictures...over 60 of them)  wanting people to comment on it. Yeah, different strokes for different folks. But, even though the baby is deceased, it still deserves it's dignity. And posting pictures of it on the internet is just sick and disrespectful to the child. Absolutely no class and no respect for their child.

  2. It looks real to me but I don't know any hospital that would let you take it home. I got to hold my baby (still born at 20 weeks) for half a day but then they did the blessing took it for an autopsy and we had a funeral for him and buried him. A lot of people have their babies cremated though and keep it at their home.

  3. I don't know if I believe this or not. I mean, some of the pictures look very real while some do not.

  4. Sure, it's real, but unless this happened to you, why does it matter

  5. it looks real.... but hard to say, there's a lot of BS on the internet.

  6. If you believe this you have to be the biggest fool on the planet!

  7. oh my god...if that is real.. jeez some people.i dint even want to click on the picture to make it bigger..... it does look real though..

  8. Wow! You're right it is graphic it almost made me cry- I think it looks real but the only thing is, I can't imagine the hospital allowing them to take the dead fetus home and also I can't imagine why they would let their son touch it, you would think it would scare him to death- it looks like a tiny alien. How sad either way though.

  9. i really dont know if its real or not, but people wouldnt think so badly if it was a 40 week stillbirth and they took it home, if it is real, the family have lost something that was very real to them and they are within their rights to take it home.

  10. it looks both real and fake

  11. It looks pretty real to me. At 17 weeks the body parts are developed enough to recognize and the skin is not developed enough so the baby would look like in the pics....

What I didn't like was that they were treating it like a frickin' science project, even the little kid was poking at the baby. That's pretty pathetic of the family.

  12. I don't think that looks real! the baby is not quite that red, & it's eyes would not be opened like that...they look painted on or something.

  13. it has to be totally fake i mean what dr or hospital be in their right mind to let you take your deceased baby home with you that would have made the baby at 4 months and 1 week in the womb and at 4 months you should be able to have a funeral for the baby. but take it home no way they have to be very sick people

  14. I live in Scotland and this girl had her baby early I'm not sure how many weeks but it was perhaps 30 or so weeks and it was stillborn :(  The hospital had this policy in place that they can take the babies and spend time with them!  I was rather shocked by this. She actually took the baby out and took pictures and what not.

I'm not sure what to make of the whole thing.  I mean you would want to spend time with your baby but to take it home or out seems rather strange to me but then again I'm not in their position.

It could well be true because of what happened in the case above!?

  15. I don't see why it wouldn't be real because why would subject your son in a photograph and post it all over the internet.  It didn't seem that graphic to me only because the other day, I saw a picture of an aborted baby, red like the baby in the picture, but also red for obvious reasons...and well, you don't want to know the rest.  I don't know if it's twisted, it was a family decision, they must have wanted to produce some type of memory and closer.  It's not something that everyone will agree with, but that's what they decided is best for them.

  16. I know that they will give you time to spend with the baby in the hospital. I had a cousin who had issues and her baby was stillborn. They gave the family time to hold her and even take pictures if they wanted. The part that makes me think this is a little fake is the fact that they were able to take her home....I really don't think hospitals(in the US, at least) would allow that.

  17. I believe the eyes should be fused shut at that age, so it is probably a fake.

  18. it is real, babies do look like that and they took it home cause it is still their baby.my cousin did the same thing, she had a virus so she gave birth to her baby and she looked like that too.they threw her a birthday party and everyone got to hold her, thankfully i wasnt there or i would have puked

  19. Can't really say ...either way it's freaky !

  20. I don't think it's real. Would any hospital just give the fetus to the parents if they asked and begged? I don't think any hospital would give a miscarriage baby just like that.

  21. I don't know but it looks real i don't think i would want to do that though.

I did have a miscarriage in april at 9 weeks and i was given the choice to bury the baby in my garden which i did as i could not bear the thought of some one just cremating the baby with other baby's and amputated parts from operations

  22. I don't think they would have let them leave the hospital with the baby.

If a family member dies at the hospital, they don't let you take home the body- I think the same goes for babies.

I don't think it's creepy or anything to hold and say good bye to your baby.  Although, I don't think I would expose my older children to something like that.  And I wouldn't bring the baby home.

  23. It looks real too me. My daughter was born at 25 weeks and was only a bit more developed then that baby. I'm not sure about taking the baby home but mothers I met while my baby was in the hospital lost some of there babies and they were allowed to hold the baby and take pictures as long as they liked.

  24. it dose look real but in the uk they wouldn't let u bring it home to have more time with it i think that bit is a bit disturbing

  25. I did not even bother to click on your link, but this would not happen if the fetus delivered in an American hospital
