Is this really Spanish?

I'm of mixed nationalities. So I'm a mutt. I have dark hair and eyes, but I have fair skin. I'm Scottish, Irish, English, Norwegian, Dutch, French, Italian, and Spanish. Most people think the Spanish are dark. But my Spanish/Dutch Uncle told me that his Spanish ancestors had red hair, green eyes and fairskin. He had brown hair sky blue eyes and fair skin. I thought the Spanish were dark. The only reason I have dark features is because I'm French and Italian.

Im surprised for reading so many questions about us, spaniards, and allways about our skin colour :O.

We spaniards usually (lets say, 85%) are fair skinned. However, there are some tanned skinned spaniards (lets say 15%). This tan can be natural or can be produced by the sun. We have a lot of sunny days.

About hair. Spaniards can be blonde, brown, dark brown, redheaded, etc... And the same about our eyes : blue, gray, brown, green... The averege spaniard is fair skinned, brown hair and hazel/green eyes . But u can meet easely a blonde/blue eyed spaniard or a tanned dark brown/dark brown spaniard.

I am very fair skinned. In fact, i met a belgium girl (very fair) and i was lighter, and believme that she was really fair.
