  1. Absolutely.

    That happens every day.

Why do you think they don't allow cameras in slaughterhouses? The only cameras that make it in are hidden.

I've lost so much hope for the compassion of humanity.

And I thought slavery supposedly ended 160 years ago. We are taking our time progressing, aren't we?

Turing on the "ignorant" button isn't an option for me, either. If you have knowledge, USE IT.

Plus, by eating meat you are contributing to the most polluting industry in the world, even beyond automobiles. And you put your money towards soiling and desecrating the earth. You are truly ungrateful of the condition of the planet if you can know so much and continue to support the suffering of animals, people (who are starving due to our wasteful economical monster industry) and Earth itself.

Of course, I'm saying all this in general.

But the answer to your question is yes.

  2. go ask to take a tour of a kill floor of a meat packing plant, or watch the movie "fast food nation", or read up about AgriProcessors (postville, iowa), youll get the scoop

  3. Pretty much yes it is. It's gross isn't it? That tuned me veg@n after being vegetarian for only 3months!!

  4. At that particular time in that particular place that is what happened.  It does not shake my diet.

  5. it was videos on youtube and such that turned me vegetarian. i think it clicks inside everybody at least once that eating innocent animals is wrong. some ppl become vegetarian/vegan, some ppl could care less, and some ppl dont have the willpower to stop eating it simply because it tastes "good".

    answer to your question

yes, unfortunately animals used for food are treated more like machines than living creatures that can feel pain

  6. Yes ma'am. Ignorance is bliss, isn't it? :(
