French isn't Latino. Some Latinos, like those from Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic are a mix of Spanish Native American and Black.

Latino is not a race. Its a culture and these cultures tend to speak a romance langauge and live a certain way.

I am Kurdish (middle eastern) and was mistaken for latin when i was in Newyork for a holiday. That doesnt mean that Im latino or have hispanic roots.
