  1. Not at all but it shows how the 'racist' card is played to restrict freedom of speech.

  2. No, monkeys are not a race.

  3. monkeys are a species. people acusing that guy of racism are rascist themselves if they are assuming that monkey refers to black people.

  4. How interesting that it was the Daily Mail who reported the story!!!

  5. I DON'T  THINK SO BECAUSE THAT ORIGINATED IN CHINA. HEAR NO EVIL, SEE NO EVIL, SPEAK NOT EVIL.

  6. I think the person who branded the picture as being racist is the one with clearly identifiable racist sensitivities. I do not think for one minute that Mr Kasab intended to associate the appearance of a monkey with that of a black man. That association has been made by his accusors.

  7. Since when did Monkeys become a race? It's like the Lebron James magazine cover that they said was racist because it depicted "Black man wants white woman, just like King Kong" King Kong is not a black man! And the wise monkeys are not black men! The origin of the monkeys are from 17th century Japan!

The only thing I can think is that maybe that particular monkey in that cartoon looked very much like that certain committee member.

  8. That's a load of rubbish. That proverb is the old as the hills, and it was clearly relating to that - no the fact that ONE of them happened to be Black.

But then, that's our compensation society.

  9. What racism?

    Over a cartoon?

    Where 's the human intelligent?

Did anyone left their IQ up the coconut tree?

Still look green with lost sense of direction and purpose of life?

    Look in the real world.

Like asking the mirror on the wall.

Mirror ! Mirror ! on the wall.

Who is the "Racism" of them all?

With self image of standing idol?

    Leviticus 26.1

As Venus - The Black Widow spider?

As Proud Mary - Children of the pink panther?

With "Lady in Red" - The Scarlett woman - Devil woman?

As cheap-skate glory of success in idol worshiping the dead Mummy in messing up someone else graveyards.

    Leviticus 4.13, 22

    What do you think?

  10. No. But see http://www.stopthewitchhunt.org.uk/

This seems to be a witch-hunt against union members who spoke out against the union. They (the union) are using racism purely as an excuse to attack this person.

  11. I think the person who label this proverb and man "racist" clearly have racist issues themselves.

  12. Anyone who can possibly consider a Japanese proverb about WISE monkeys to be a racist attack on someone obviously has a problem with racism themselves or is using it as an excuse for something entirely different.

  13. No.

The same mentality of people who label this racist propaganda are the same cretins who award a muslim hairdresser £4,000 for not being given a stylist job.

    Total stupidity.

  14. I think that the people who are racist are the ones who apparently think that a particular race looks more like monkeys than any other - and made this complaint!!

  15. this country is absolutely going to the dogs. if i were young enough i would emigrate. im sick of all this politically correct stuff- believe me, things are gonna get worse if this is allowed to go on///

  16. Give 'Croxx' best answer,he/she has said it exactly.

  17. lmao! thats funny! it may or may not be "racist" who cares!!!!!

lets see,i think we need to look on to worse things like oh i don't know murderers and rape...racism is not the worst thing in this world!

move on! let it go! get over it!!! stop bringing it up!!!!

  18. Shame on them for singling it out as only a jab at the black guy. That makes them the racists. Are they implying that only black people can be portayed as monkeys in a cartoon. The see no evil etc. quote is a well known one and is always portrayed with chimps doing the actions. They're just trying to blacken the characters of the opponent.I'd probably get shot for saying that too!

  19. the bloke who handed the leaflets out is of ethnic origin so how could it be branded racist?

this country is getting so bad im thinking of emigrating to australia.

  20. What a load of tosh, I've got the 3 wise monkeys carved out of wood, does that make me racist?

This PC lark has gone too far, it really is out of hand.

  21. No, it is ludicrous oversensitivity!

There is a similar story in the states, where supporters of Obama have been denounced for using monkey mascots.
