Is this really true??

Question

is it possible that there is a program for parents that records everything you write like messaging and and bullitins and stuff on myspace....or is my dad telling me this so that i will be careful on what i write? he said he wont use it unless i guve him a reason to......do you think this is true? and if you DO kno can you tell me a few of the websites of it........thanks

p.s is there a way around this?maybe i can prevent him from recording what i write?......THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!

It is possible to get keylogging hardware/software which will record everything you type on your keyboard, no matter where you type it, it just records everything... and it is difficult to get around...

I would just wonder what you would be typing that you would be afraid of your dad finding? I think if you just talk to him about what you are doing/who you are chatting to or whatever - im sure he will trust you.

Yes it's called a keylogger. He downloaded it to make sure you don't get molested by pedophiles.

Sure it is possible. There are all sorts of keyloggers and network sniffers out there. And why are you worried unless you are doing something you want to hide?
