Is this reel good?daiwa oceano 4500j?

my brother give it to me cos he said I'm just a beginner,I don't think its good cos he doen't want me to touch all his saltiga series,he got the whole collection.Do you think he is playing me?

Daiwa makes one of the most reliable reels in the world I would go on line and get their service address and send it to them to look through, lube and tune up (they make the ones they work on virtually new) I have had them even give me a newer model (better) than the one I sent them to fix.

you will get many more years out of it and yes it is good
