Is this right for bulk training?

I was told that 4 sets of 10, 8, 6, 4 reps was okay.

Is this optimal for building mass?

  1. When i weight train i lift as heavy a weight as i can, so pushing myself i can do like 5 reps

    as less reps and more weights makes you bulk up

    where more reps and less weight tones you up
