I'm 16 and like it! its matter of taste. But when she gets older she wont like the style any more probably...so...like the other person said, change it as she gets older. Ask her what she likes. I dont suggest just doing what you want. Most likely kids dont like it! or just give her a piece of paper and let her design on it.

Just think of how you'll like it when you're 15 or 16 and if your parents will redo it when you are that age. If they will.. I like it.

That 12 yr old will be 16 soon and will want it to look more mature, remember when you were 12 and again 16. Are you willing to redecorate in just a couple of years.
