Is this running safe?

I saw some stuff on people, mostly M.M.A fighters running in bag type cloths and layers of sweats to make it really hot and produce lots of sweat, is this safe? what ages would you advise against doing this?

  1. I just wonder if the weight would come back after rehydrating yourself.


  2. this is "safe" but it won't do anything for you fitness-wise. all of the weight you lose is just sweat which you gain back the moment you drink water afterward. running with normal running clothes would yield more benefits since you will be able to go farther.

  3. It is safe if done properly and in shape. I would recommend not wearing too many layers. This could cause over heating and dehydration.

    Next, I would not train this way if you are out of shape and trying to get in shape. This could cause heart failure or death. Only do this if you are in shape and trying to get better.
