  1. just watch your card and make sure someone isn't phishing the site

  2. I've dealt with Ancestry.com and had no problems with them.  Just be sure that if, after the 14 day free trial, you decide to not keep the service, that you let them know that you do not wish to subscribe.  Watch your credit card, and if a charge should accidentally appear, your credit card company will remove it with no problem.

  3. Go with Bobert's suggestion but my personal preference is I DON'T TRUST THE INTERNET & CREDIT CARDS ARE EVIL they **** UP PEOPLES LIVES (watched documentaries on MSNBC, ETC) especially when it comes to social security number's.I would be more specific about why I feel that way about the internet but it'd be a long story.Make sure you have internet virus protection, anti-spyware, and key-logger programs of the sort loaded on your computer (AT ALL TIMES) however it's no guarantee that all that stuff will be 100% effective. But it's better than having your computer naked (unprotected) that's all I know about trying to shield yer computer as much as possible.
