Is this safe/sanatary?

my dad has these little nails that have been sitting in the garage and I wanted to use them as earrings, i would boil them in water. Would this be okay or would it give my ear an infection?

  1. You would want to have an infection. =/


  2. NO NO  You are risking infection I would not do it and if it get infected you might have to let the hole close up  

  3. I would sand them down to get rid of any rust and then soak them in rubbing alcohol. When you first got your piercing, you probably used rubbing alcohol then as well, so you know it disinfects.

    I would also be cautious about the size of the nail, so as to not tear your present piercing. If the nails exceed the size of your piercing, don't use them.  

  4. They would be sanitary, but they might make your ears sore.  The material they are made from was not intended to be part of an earring.  

  5. no. i would not do it. it would give your ear an infection! i would go to claires and get some earrings. they have a lot of earrings that are funky and cool, and probably some metal ones that look like nails.  

  6. h**l noo, buy some earrings that look like them, im sure u will find them on the web.
