Is this salary in Copenhagen area OK?

I would like to know if 34000 DKK gross for a software engineer with 8 years labour experience is a good salary in Copenhagen area.

It's fair, but with 8 y of experience it's below average. I would say it's ok for an entry position, but you should make it clear, that once you have pr oven you are worth the money, a raise to approx 37.000 would be fair. Mind you though, that "software" can be anything. A SAP consultant will make 50.000 or more, where as an old school html web coder will make under 30.000
