"Mom brought food for Allison and I"

the main part my friends and i are arguing over is the "allison and i" part.

  1. Cakes is correct.  However, it is because me is the objective form and I is the subjective form of the pronoun.  It is easy to hear it though if you use the two and listen to them as Cakes has suggested.

  2. It's "allison and me"

    The easiest way to figure it out is to take out the other person in the sentence and see what sounds right. You wouldn't say "Mom brought food for I."

    if you were a working class citizen, you would say ''mom brought food for allison and i''
