Is this short letter in German written correctly?

Question

I'm writing to the webmaster of the Swiss Federal Authorities to find out whether a piece of legislation is available in English. (Their website says *some* articles are, but not all. I can't find which ones are and which ones aren't!)

Of course any decent German is fine, doesn't have to be Swiss!!

Ich moechte wissen ob SR 455 Tierschutzgesetz (TSchG) (http://www.admin.ch/ch/d/sr/455/) auf Englisch vorhanden ist. Ich konnte es auf der Website nicht finden.

I'd add a comma after "ich möchte wissen"--that's all.

Your German is absolutly correct. But you should add a comma after "Herren" and "wissen"

Well done!

Oh, and people in Switzerland don't write official letters in Swiss but they use Schriftdeutsch as they call it and that would be Standard German. So, you'll never find a business letter in Swiss
