Is this site safe for buying a TV internationally?

I am trying to buy a TV from someone on craigslist. He lives in the UK and suggested using this website to make the transaction. Is this a trustworthy site?

If he's in the UK and you're in the US, remember they use 220 volts over there.  I'd hate for you to get it here and find it can't run on 120.

I think this is a scam, someone asked me to use the same service for an alienware laptop for 500$ the deal was too good to be true. Is yours the same?
