Question:

Is this snowboard height okay?

I'm a beginner at snowboarding and I'm thinking of using my brothers snowboard, because i don't have one. His snowboard come's up to my nose when standing straight. Is it still okay to use?

P.S - If i would use this snowboard i wud be using it for beginner lessons

  1. The "up to your chin" or "up to your nose" is just a general rule for those that are height / weight proportionate - it really depends more on your weight and the type of riding you will do. As a beginner, you wouldn't want a really long board and if you are light for your height that may be too long of a board.

That should be fine dude!     I would usually suggest that you rock something just a little but shorter to learn on, as it would be eaiser to turn, but a deck up to your nose should good.    Shorter decks are better for riding park (jumps and rails)   and longer decks are better for all mountain stuff and powder.
